Team Atlantic – I’ll Keep it DeBrief – July 10th

Today was the final day for Team Atlantic. This morning, the students launched into debriefing. Students heard from TK via Skype for a few hours before departing to a church family’s house for a pool party and exit interviews. This was a good time to encourage our students to continue pursuing growth as they head home. When Team Atlantic came back to the church, students packed their bags and then heard from Christian about how to lead...

Team Atlantic – A Message Tour Fans – July 9th

His neck creaked. His body ached. His hunger surmounted. After a long evening spent in the wild, the unnamed Team Atlantic blog writer shaved his incredibly manly mustache that he had only started growing earlier that night. A true sign of manhood is what people declared about his quick growing mustache. Though this story may be fabricated, the following contents are completely true and unadulterated. The students awoke this morning with a fun,...

Team Hoosier Day 18: The Final Chapter

Well today Team Hoosier’s tour came to an end, but with a very good ending. Today we put on our final OB church service for Legacy Church of Kendallville, Indiana. It was a great service, and people were so encouraged by our students, that a new family decided to follow Jesus for the first time. Praise God! After the service we stopped to get lunch and headed over to the local park to enjoy a couple of hours with the people from the...

Breakfast was this morning. It was a delightful spread of French Toast and sausage. Then,...

Today was a blast in Kendalville Indiana! The students met all of the leaders at Legacy Church’s storefront offices, in the morning and got the chance to hear from Pastor Dan Cosentino and his team. The students were able to ask questions about ministry, and how to be in the type of ministry that Pastor Dan does.  Once we were given instructions, we split up into 4 different teams. The first team did a free carwash at the local fire station....

Team Atlantic – And the Rest was History: The Good Stuff Blog – July 7th

It was a brisk morning in Philadelphia. Sleep had once again won over the unnamed Team Atlantic blog writer, requiring him to write his blog in the early A.M. of the next day. Though he was well rested, his writer’s train of thought was not choo-chooing, as they say. In a most difficult moment of determination, he decided his blog would only contain the good stuff. On July 8th, he wrote this blog. Allow me to explain Team Atlantic’s...
