Today was our first full day of debriefing and it was filled with fun, laughter, and learning! After spending an hour with God Jeremy took time to teach the students about what it looks like to take the things they have learned home.  Taking the things they have learned on Operation Barnabas home is the main purpose of OB, so taking the opportunity to walk them through that is the point of debriefing.

Following lunch we loaded the bus and headed to the Firebaugh’s house! The Firebaugh family was gracious enough to open up their home to us. We used this time to spend time fellowshipping together and going through exit interviews. Exit interviews are a time for the leaders to encourage the students and give them one final push as they head home in a few days! This time is always an encouraging time for the students and many of them stated that they enjoyed this time.

Tonight was a special night for our team as we took time to dress up in nice clothes and dresses to head out for our fancy dinner! We traveled to Joe’s Crab Shack for a delicious seafood, steak, and sandwich dinner. As a team we loved laughing, taking pictures, and enjoying each other’s company.  Our days continue to come to a close so we treasure these moments together!

Tomorrow night we have the great opportunity to help out Grace Polaris during their Duck Dynasty event. One of the stars from Duck Dynasty, Jase Robertson, will be here speaking and we will be working alongside of Grace Polaris during this event. Both OB teams will be doing the opening act and be helping out with hospitality and parking! We are excited to work alongside of them tomorrow in this unique opportunity!
