July 24- OB Team National- Last Blog: Crazyiness!
| July 25, 2011 | 4:33 am | The National Team | Only Pings

Wow! The last blog of Team National is here. They have not all come easy. Some trips to Sheetz or McDonalds were needed, but The Lord allowed them to get published. Today was a good day. All three teams combined to do the two church services today at Polaris Grace and they were amazing. Rothen and Ruthie got to share what God has done in their hearts over the summer and it was so encouraging to hear. Then we headed out to get lunch and head up to Wooster, Ohio for Adult Conference. It was pretty hectic, but the students handled it well and went hard for The Lord. We just mingled and enjoyed sweet fellowship with our fellow brothers and sisters in the faith.

I want to thank all of you who followed the blog: whether you are a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, pastor, friend, or any other relation. Thanks for the support through prayer! Pray for these kids as they head back home to continue on in the faith, and that they may live and die for the gospel. That should be the cry of all who follow Jesus! With much love in Christ! God bless and have a great rest of your summer!

July 23- OB Team National- The Last National Program
| July 24, 2011 | 3:21 am | The National Team | Only Pings

Today was another hot one in the Columbus, Ohio area. Today brought all three OB teams together once again as tour draws closer to the end. First off, the teams united to practice for choir tomorrow for the two services we will do. Rebecca R. has a solo for one of the songs. It went well and i think tomorrow will be special as it will be the last time this group of kids sing together. Then TK had debriefing time with the whole group: all three teams to talk about a bunch of different things, including admonishing them to stay in the Word, be diligent in prayer, and keep on sharing Christ. The groups split up for lunch. Quinton got to share the gospel with a lady at Chic-Fil-A and she was in tears afterwards. Pray for this lady please!!! After a delicious lunch graciously given us by The Lord, we went over to Andy Wert’s house. where most of the students went and canvased the area with fliers for the evening program we had at the Aquatic Center. Vanessa, Grace, Kelli, and Charlie along with a few leaders and Nick stayed and helped Andy and his family out by doing yardwork. Andy graciously provided a great dinner for our whole team, for which we are really thankful to him and his family, and above all to God. We then headed over for the program. We saw a Catholic come to saving faith in Jesus Christ and also a teenager. God is saving souls to his glory and praise!! Pray that tomorrow’s service will exalt Jesus and He would be pleased with it. God bless you guys!
